Overview
Most of the current programs being used today are aimed to help an executive decrease their stress or negative feeling but are not based upon the individual’s personal biochemistry or personality. These programs often result in non-compliance and ineffectiveness because they use broad-based exercise, diet and stress reduction programs. Only when an individual is using a program that is structured for their body, brain and mind, will it be effective. Rewards for their health must come quickly and be sustained by long lasting change in order to be effective. The Robertson Wellness Program uses this philosophy by offering a decisively different approach toward improving personal performance, health and wellness, utilizing the science of brain chemistry. The Robertson Wellness programs are designed to give each person practical steps to maximize their individual brain potential.
Program Comparison
Robertson Wellness programs are decisively different from other psychological assessments. While other profiling tests are designed to describe the individual, Robertson Wellness provides respondents with an individualized, actionable plan that, can change and even improve brain chemistry, thus helping them achieve optimal health. While other sites and organizations provide wellness-type testing, the results are typically broad-based. The Robertson Wellness behavioral medicine program is the only solution thus far that offers highly specialized and individually tailored plans, as well as partnership with corporations and a self-care support system.
Our Programs
The Brain Chemistry Optimization Program (BCOP)
Following the completion of an online survey consisting of 180 questions, a computerized diagnostic engine counts, weighs, correlates and categorizes a patients self-reported history, life style and physiological symptoms as they relate to brain chemistry. Patients can start, stop and resume the evaluation at their leisure. The individual BCOP plan recommendations are based on hundreds of medical research studies which demonstrate that simple modification of various areas including food, activity, stress management and music can change brain chemical levels which in turn improve an individual’s mood, behavior and performance. The plan addresses the symptoms of five main brain chemicals: norepinephrine, dopamine, serotonin, GABA and acetylcholine.
The Corporate Program
The BCOP plan provide individuals insight about their own creativity--are they more effective working independently or in a group environment? When are they most efficient, and for what task? Should they work within a detail environment, or are they better adapted to developing creative long range plans or project management? These and other factors are determined in part by the person’s physiology evaluated in the BCOP questionnaire. Recommendations provide individuals with suggested working environments that are consistent with their biochemistry so employees will not burn out and be negativity affected by stress not only in their work environment but in all areas of their lives. The plan includes the BCOP recommendations that address the symptoms of five main brain chemicals: norepinephrine, dopamine, serotonin, GABA and acetylcholine and include additional insight and recommendations specific to the corporate environment.
